Wingdrake Hide is a crafting ingredient in Monster Hunter World. It’s the skin of a wingdrake, a special kind of small monster. There are several types of wingdrakes, and you can find one in almost every area. Some people are having trouble getting this item, which is why we’ve decided to write about Monster Hunter World wingdrake hide locations.
How to get wingdrake hide in MHW?
You can get the hide by hunting wingdrakes. No matter which area you’re clearing out, you’ll always have at least one option. The creatures you should be looking for are the small, pterodactyl-like monsters, which prey on the miniature endemic life or steal eggs. They almost always run away when a bigger beast appears. Among them are:
- Mernos (Ancient Forest, Wildspire Waste)
- Noios (Wildspire Waste)
- Raphinos (Coral Highlands, Rotten Vale)
- Barnos (Great Ravine)
Wildspire Waste seems to be the best place to farm wingdrake hides, since there are two species from the genus that live there. If you don’t shy away from conflict, you probably already have a nice stash of hides from previous encounters with the nasty things. While the Barnos is technically part of the family, we haven’t seen it outside the Great Ravine, which is a one-off area.
